As part of the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society’s 25th anniversary celebrations this year, tracks across Ontario are hosting a special day to honour the milestone. That kicked off this afternoon at both Clinton and Dresden Raceways.
It was the three-year-old filly Better Watch It who was victorious in Dresden’s OSAS race, the first on the matinee card. The Hes Watching lass pulled trainer Greg Drew to a 2:00.2 two length score. It was the first lifetime win and third career start for the filly is owned by breeder Drew.
In Clinton’s feature race this afternoon, OSAS’s Anniversary trot in the ninth race, The Reins Of Titan grabbed the lead early and withstood a final rush from Secretly Flashy to win in 2:02.3. Tyler Moore was at the lines behind the four-year-old gelding by EL Titan for owner Ezra Miller.
The next track to host an OSAS race will be Grand River Raceway on Wednesday, August 18th.
